How to read Gmail newsletters on Boox

A short setup guide for Boox / Onyx owners who want newsletter digests on e-paper — without living inside the full Gmail UI.

1. Install Inkletter from Google Play

On the Boox, open the Play Store and search for Inkletter, or open the listing directly: app.inkletter on Google Play.

2. Sign in with Google (read-only)

Tap Sign in with Google and choose the account that receives your newsletters. Inkletter requests Gmail read-only access so it can list and display digests — it does not send mail.

If Google shows a verification warning during review periods, use a test account listed in the OAuth consent screen, or wait until production verification completes.

3. Open the newsletter library

After sign-in, Inkletter builds a library of newsletter-style messages. Pick one to open the paginated reader (black text on white, tap zones for next/previous page).

4. Read offline after sync

Once a digest is loaded, you can often continue reading without a constant connection — useful on walks or flights. Sync again when you want newer issues.

Tips for E-Ink comfort

Prefer Wi‑Fi for the first sync, then read offline.
If ghosting appears, use your device’s refresh gesture between pages.
